WHEN I KNOW...

When I know
That my life has a purpose,

When I know
That there is a reason to live beyond my own heart beat,

When I know
That I am secure just by gazing at the blue, bright sky,

When I know
That there are enough stars for me to guide,

When I know
That God doesn’t forsake any of His children,

When I know
That my fear is just a passing cloud,

When I know
That no bitterness is worth writing on a stone,

When I know
That there are friends, who do not need my reminders,

When I know
That my love is LOVE only when the lust goes,

When I know
That I am manipulating my dear one with the dangle of my care,

When I know
That people shun me when my heart is unclean,

When I know
That I need someone beside be when I am in pain,

When I know
That no one can live my life for me,

When I know
That everything in my life happens for my good,

When I know
That I should never cease to be a kid,

When I know
That I came with my bare hands and would go the same way,

When I know
That this very land is my Promised Land,

When I know
That this very life is the Life After,

When I know
That I cried last night not because I felt lost and lonely,

When I know
That I have smiled in my life much, much more than I have cried,

When I know
That I need, again and again, the hug of love,

When I know
That I can do well even without,

When I know
That I am just a longing soul,

When I know
That I have a lot and lot and lot to know…
