THE PACK OF LOVE
My friend, Joe is mad! Last night, I called him up. There was disturbance in the line… so, I said, “Hey Joe, are you driving?” “How can I?” Joe’s response was instant, “Mariette (his ONLY wife!) has gone to Mumbai!” I laughed. Then thought, “What did he mean by that?” Well, had I asked him that, I knew he had ready rejoinders. I only said, “You Wise-crack! You drive me crazy!” Joe and Mariette got married very early. They have two lovely daughters, Namratha and Niyothi and one son, Nikhil. Namratha is married to Brian and they just celebrated their first wedding anniversary on this New-Year day. Niyothi is already engaged and Nikhil is doing his engineering. Joe runs his business and very successful in it. Mariette heads a nursing college. It is a lovely family.
