SEE IT BIG, AND KEEP IT SIMPLE

Clarity is a powerful aide in life. A confused mind only takes us in circles… It makes life a clutter.

I am a dreamer… But, I do not wish to get trapped when I dream. As Wilfred Peterson says, I like to see big, and keep it simple.

One of the challenging things for every dreamer is not to lose his soul under the weight of his dreams. Somewhere, along his path, man, often, compromises – forgets the very reason why he dreamt so passionately… Therefore, the wise counsel:

“Keep it simple, Keep it honest, Keep it you.”






Let me read it backward… Most of us dream with our pure hearts and  fine intentions. We are honest to the core. But, along our paths, we tend to get entangled and lose sight of our basic objective. Yes, we lose it in the complex web of confusion…

Never to lose your soul… Never, ever. That’s what ‘Keep it you’ means…

What we think, we create; what we feel, we attract; what we imagine, we become… This is how the anonymous saying goes. Thinking, feeling and imagining – these are all ingredients of dreaming. And, dreaming, by nature, is ‘seeing big’…

But, keeping it simple doesn’t come, by nature… It comes by a ‘conscious choice’…

THE SPANISH DANCE

I remember reading this little story, many years ago. It was in Shiv Khera’s famous book: ‘YOU CAN WIN’. A man had a dog with an unusually special gift: he could run over water! Now, what a special gift that was, in deed! This man, obviously, felt proud about his gifted dog… and many, many people complimented him on it. He, undoubtedly, felt good about it. Then, one day, this man happened to meet an old, dear friend. He wanted to show this friend the special talent of his dog and took him along for hunting. They went to the countryside.
