EVENTUALLY, ALL THINGS FALL INTO PLACE
“Eventually,
all things fall into place.”
We never ask the question, “When is it all going to end?” when all is going well in our lives. We only ask that question, when all is not going well…
We ask that question, in our frustration, in despair… when our hope dims down and future looks uncertain, bleak… scary.
Don’t we?
All things, in our lives, have to happen the way they do… all pleasant and unpleasant things… And, so they happen…
They happen for a reason, and they happen for our good.
Just a silly Pop-psychology... Something said just to make us feel good?
No sir, eventfully, we will feel good, anyway… no matter how deeply we panic, despair or mourn now…
Eventually, the sky will become clear… The seas will calm down… The dogs will stop barking… The enemies will become friends… and the wars will come to an end…
Eventually, we will ‘understand’…
And, when we understand,
all things will
look perfectly in their place…
So, until then,
instead of throwing things around and bringing the roof down – which don’t’
help us anyway – let’s just slow down a little and tell ourselves what Albert
Schweitzer told:
“Eventually all things fall into place.
Until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moments,
and know EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.”
