STAY STRONG INSIDE... KNOW WHO YOU ARE










One of the most difficult tasks in life is to stop someone from talking ill about you. In fact, it is impossible to shut someone’s mad-mouth. No matter how good and selfless you are, there will, always, be some around you who think you are the worst creature on this planet… the most dangerous and you deserve to be banished from this land!

Now, if I mention here Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Dalai Lama, I would be surely able to drive home the point: “Look, if they did not even spare these Godly souls, who are you and me to be spared?” But, why look at the Godly souls… Life around us is, always, such: If nine out of ten around you trust you, believe in you… the one out there will think you are not trustworthy and try to brainwash others saying you are so… They will be hell-bent in maligning and defaming you… They will, always, cry for your blood!

Who are these guys? Where do they come from? Bullies and criminals… the most selfish and the least sensitive, these guys come from the dark space called ‘low self-esteem’… You can’t change them… You can’t stop them from thinking their sinister thoughts… All that you can do is this: nourish your own self-esteem… Know who you are… and, never ever get disheartened and disillusioned by the words, opinions, negative propaganda etc of these desperate ones…

Bullies and negative people die in their own nets… They dig their own graves! So, if you can suffer them as long as you can, you succeed in shortening their lifespan. On the other hand, if you keep reacting to their activates, taunts and actions, you will simply feed their dirty egos and end up enhancing their lifespan…

A bully and a negative soul will, always, meet a bigger bully and a more negative character. You will not have to do anything to end their menace…

This may sound a bit impractical advice. You may ask: “Should I take his crap lying down?” No. “Should I allow him to bulldoze over me?” No. 

Just hold the fort… Just don’t let your self-worth deflate because of the actions of these dark characters… When they see you strong inside, they will be emptied of their weapons to deal with you… Meanwhile, they would have invited so many enemies around them, that, they are now all set to perish in their own ‘Waterloo’!

That’s how all bullies have perished in this world… That’s how goodness has, always, outlived the darkness of the heart!

Stay strong inside…  Know who you are!

Pic.; Ashwin Mohta M y Hindi was always bad. It still is. One reason for this was, that they introduced Hindi for us only in 6 th standard. Or, was it in 8 th ?
