WHAT IS INSIDE, REFLECTS, GLOWS



















I had written on Happiness in my last Post. A friend of mine, after reading this Post yesterday, sent this quote to me:



“Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.”

- Oscar Wilde



I immediately smiled!

Read this quote, once again… See, how true it is!

It simply divides the people of this gigantic world into only two kinds: Those, whose presence makes the world around them happy; and those, whose presence makes it depressive… Those who bring sunshine whenever they come… and, those, who bring gloom…

Yes, it is so. The world has only these two kinds of people when it comes to making the world around us a bright and happy place to live in. We can easily spot these people around us…

Those, who we wish stay back long and make our lives a lot brighter…,

Those, who we wish go away as quickly as they can and leave behind this place a lot happier.



Well, when I read this quote of Oscar Wilde, a question crossed my mind, too:

“What about me? To which kind do I belong?”

Indeed, every morning, when I leave home, I have to make a choice: to take along happiness wherever I go and cause sunshine; or, to take along unhappiness and cause gloom…

That’s how it is for all of us…



When people around us want our presence, 

it is clear that we have brought along 

loads of sunshine… 
 

On the other hand, when people want us to leave, it is clear that what we have carried to them is gloom, unhappiness…

So, it is not just about happiness in our own lives… 

If our own happiness can glow from our hearts and cause happiness around us, that would be the brighter side of the divide. Yes, I would love to be a citizen of this land…

The other land is on the other side…

An unhappy man cannot make others happy…

What is inside, reflects, glows!
