SOCIETY NEEDS A FEW GOOD MEN TO STAND UP... AND INSPIRE

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil
is for good men to do nothing.”

Evil in the society doesn’t just go away on its own. Good men in the society have to do something to make it go.

There is so much evil in the society, that you and I – no matter how ‘good’ we are – just can’t make it all go. Yet, there is something we can do… to make some evil to go.

Yes, it’s all about making some evil to go, at least!

Leadership is all about this: when there is evil in the society – in any sphere of the society – do something about it. Get up and inspire a few more men to get up… Evil can be destroyed only by the force of good. Trust me, the force of good is mightier than the force of evil.

I fully believe, therefore, in Edmund Bruke’s words cited above. How else can we expect evil around us to go, unless you and I, with our force of good, do something?

Burke had, also, said:

“No power so effectually robs the mind
of all its powers of acting and reasoning as fear.”

Read it again and see how true Burke’s words are!

What stops good men from acting against evil is fear. Fear completely robs the mind of all its powers of acting and reasoning. And, what makes good men act is the inspiration coming from courage of some good men, who act as leaders… show fearlessness and toughness… show patience and endurance…

Yes, society needs a few good men to stand up and inspire fearlessness in other good men… The society needs leaders.

Finally, I wish to conclude saying this: the evil in the society will test our patience. We need loads and loads of it in a war against evil. But then, that’s worth it. Let me use Burke’s words to vouch for it:
“Our patience will achieve more than our force.”
